In early winter, Jiangxi Yadong Cement Co., Ltd., located in Wharf Town, Ruichang City, is covered with green grass. It is hard to imagine that it is a cement enterprise with an annual output of 14 million tons. The company has built denitrification systems for each cement clinker production line, as well as a waste heat power generation system and 189 high-efficiency dust collectors. The cooling water recycling rate is as high as 95%, and the environmental protection investment is as high as 600 million yuan. In September last year, it was awarded the "Clean Production Demonstration Enterprise" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This is a microcosm of Jiujiang's new industrialization path.

In recent years, the city has correctly handled the relationship between expanding the total economic output and improving the quality of development, as well as the relationship between economic benefits, social benefits, and ecological benefits, in the process of determining the main industrial business income of 1 trillion yuan. Efforts have been made to explore the highway of total expansion, the upgrading road of industrial agglomeration, and the characteristic road of green development. Taking the opportunity of a total investment of 10 billion yuan in the annual production of 8 million tons of oil quality upgrading and renovation project, Jiujiang Petrochemical has implemented the construction of an "intelligent factory" and the "blue water and blue sky plan". The investment in environmental protection facilities has reached 1.6 billion yuan, achieving the goal of "doubling processing capacity and halving pollution emissions". Jiangxi Lee&Man Paper Paper Co., Ltd., located in Wharf Town, Ruichang City, has a total investment of 10 billion yuan. The company does not consume wood, does not produce wood pulp, and uses recycled waste paper as raw materials. The water consumption per ton of paper produced is only one fifteenth of the industry average.

The city vigorously promotes the ecological transformation of industrial economy and forms industrial clusters. Xinghuo Organosilicon Plant is a chemical enterprise near Poyang Lake. After the environmental protection threshold has been raised, the former "God of Wealth" has become a hot potato - please go out, can't bear to part with it; Stay here, there are many problems. To this end, the county has built a Spark Industrial Park, attracting investment from the by-products and production waste of the Spark Organic Silicon Factory, and vigorously developing a circular economy. At present, Xinghuo Industrial Park has 68 organic silicon related enterprises, forming a circular economy model of "resources products waste renewable resources", becoming a national pilot park for circular economy. The main business revenue of the organic silicon industry reached 13.6 billion yuan last year.

Jiujiang City will close and relocate heavy metal enterprises that do not conform to the urban planning to prevent heavy metal pollution incidents. At the same time, a centralized electroplating control area will be constructed to unify the construction, production, wastewater treatment, and raw material distribution of electroplating enterprises, solving the problem of wastewater treatment in electroplating enterprises. The Wanlitong (Jiujiang) Electroplating Centralized Control Park, located in Jiujiang Development Zone, has built independent pipelines based on different plating production lines, separated wastewater pipes, and then classified treatment according to their characteristics. The first phase has formed a production scale of 5000 cubic meters of daily wastewater treatment.

The city's economy is developing rapidly, and the green mountains and waters are being protected. By the end of August this year, the atmospheric environment quality of Lushan Mountain and Lushan West Sea has reached the national first level standard, the urban area of Jiujiang City has reached the national second level standard, the excellent air quality rate has remained above 83.5%, the drinking water quality rate has reached 100%, and the water quality of the Yangtze River, Poyang Lake and Xiuhe River has reached 100%.
